(Springfield, MO – March 18, 2008) — John Himmel, chairman, Commerce Bank, Springfield Region, announced that Stoney Roberts has been named Vice President and Small Business Banking Sales Manager. In his position, he is responsible for management, implementation and development of initiatives to further establish the bank’s small business banking product packages, offering customized lending, credit and money management solutions for the small business owner/operator.
Roberts has more than 37 years of experience in banking and finance and prior to this has served as Small Business Banking Specialist and market manager for Commerce Bank in Nixa. Active in the community, he serves on the Executive Committee for SCORE; advisory director and past vice-president, Nixa Community Foundation; past treasurer and executive committee member, Nixa Chamber of Commerce; past member, Nixa Chamber Economic Development Committee, Charter President of Rotary Club of Nixa and member, Nixa School District Advisory Counsel.
